Maya Ipekci

Hi, I'm Maya, I am a 3D modeling and texturing artist with a generalist background currently working in the game industry. I hold a BFA in Computer Animation from Ringling College of Art and Design, where I created my award-winning animated short Groundskeeper. Following graduation, I completed a VFX traineeship at Netflix, and later contributed to the animated series Rudy & Timmy: A Space Adventure.

I like to create characters and environments that tell a story. I am passionate about animated movies and the joy they bring to people. I aspire to bring that kind of joy to my audience with my art. I love experimenting with different design and rendering styles and like to challenge myself by trying new ones. 

 

I am experienced in Autodesk Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, ZBrush, Nuke, Fusion, Houdini, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Procreate.

 

Aside from art, I really enjoy traveling and getting immersed in new cultures. I am fluent in French, English and Turkish and have working knowledge in Spanish.
